Grid 2000

DR Grid is

A Carbon-Interspaced with Carbon-fiber covered Grid which is controlled to the micrometer, based on
the same cutting methods used for semi-conductor manufacturing. Because of this, the straightness and
width of inter-spacers in the JPI DR Grid is extremely accurate..

Effect of DR Grid in DR

  • Free from Moire Pattern
Using the JPI DR grid, a DR system can acquire a clean image without a moire pattern.
In the below picture, we can see the effect of DR Grid on DR Image.

  • Lower dose for patient
Compared to conventional grids, a JPI DR grid can be used at lower Bucky Factor and with less patient
    dosage (½ ~ ¼ less dose than film-screen systems)
  • The grid can remain stationary without creating image shadows
The super high density and uniformity of the JPI DR grid ensures that gridlines are almost invisible
in stationary use. With the DR grid, the X-ray opaque strips are so thin and so close together as to be invisible on even high resolution detectors.
  • The DR Grids are available in:
    - Various Size
Manufactured to standard film sizes of 5x7" to 14x17" grids for special size film are also available
upon your request. The overall grid is one inch larger than the film size each dimension.
    - Various Ratios
Available with ratios of 3:1 to 10:1. The ratio is the relationship between the height of the lead
strips and the distance between them.
    - Focus Range
Available with standard focus ranges of Short(26"-32"), Medium(34"-44"), Long(40"-72", 48"-72"
    and 60"-72") and Infinity (Parallel).
