Iona 14×17 CCDs
Quality, Reliable, Repairable Digital Imaging

The Iona-R series of CCDs provides affordable imaging at less than the cost of most CR systems. High quality images, durability, and easy field repairs put it above the rest of the pack for retrofitting tables and offices.
The Iona-R detectors are CE approved but currently only available in the US for veterinary use.
Key features
- robust modular design
- high resolution up to 4.6 lp/mm at 43×43 cm field of view due to multiple sensors usage
- increased sensitivity due to high optical power of lenses (up to 1:0,8) and high QE of sensors (more than 60%)
- seriously smaller thickness and weight compared to single CCD-based detectors
- no cooling
- no information loss on sensors boundaries due to overlapping fields of view
- seamless high-quality image in few seconds
High reliability and granted long life time
- Electronic components including sensors are protected from direct x-ray impact by lead and lead glass.
- Short image acquisition procedure: less than 5 seconds between sensors powered on and switched off after acquisition.
- Easy replaceable intensifying screen with a lifetime of over 10 years.
- No cooling required.
- Robust housing design. All sensors mounted on modular mounts.
Benefits
- Grated long file time.
- Modular easily maintainable design.
- Cost efficiency.
- Easy system calibration and fast setup.
- Robust performance due to every shot automated self-calibration.
- High spatial resolution of 4.6 lp/mm on the market at 43 x 43 cm field of view.
- High sensitivity due to the careful selection of sensors, lenses and screen.
- State-of-the-art integrated post-processing.
- Fast workflow.
- Benefit from more than 15 years development, manufacturing, servicing and training experience.
- More than 1000 units in field.
