Last month, one of our customers in LATAM was involved in an interesting veterinary procedure in which JPI hardware and software was utilized. One of our valued customers was able to participate in a veterinary surgery to extract a fang from a rescued white tiger. 

The surgery, which took place in Mexico City, utilized a CubeX-28 high frequency X-ray generator along with an ExamVue DRc 17″ x 17″ flat panel detector powered by our very own ExamVue DR image acquisition software. Additionally, for flat panel detector protection, a Mobile DR Panel Holder was used in the process of obtaining X-ray images of the tiger’s mouth.

The procedure went well and our rescued white tiger friend has found a home with a big cat protective foundation located in Mexico. We thank our customer for sharing one of their adventures in veterinary medicine with us.
