In 2024, we partnered with Thales and DMS—two European leaders in imaging technology—to introduce the TrueMobile Apex mobile X-ray system and the ExamVue™ Apex digital x-ray panel.
The TrueMobile Apex features advanced battery technology with an 8-year guarantee and 9 hours of non-stop operation per charge, while the Thales-manufactured ExamVue™ Apex panel is a hospital-grade, glassless digital x-ray solution offering an ultra-high resolution at 99 microns with ultra-cybersecurity features.
JPI has traditionally focused on private practices. These innovations mark our expansion into the hospital medical market. With these new offerings, JPI continues to deliver superior imaging products at competitive prices, supported by unmatched customer service.
In addition, in 2024 we have upgraded our TruePortable portable X-ray system, enhancing its efficiency and reliability to better serve portable imaging needs, only the first step on exciting new developments in that market in 2025.
Expansion and Operational Improvements
Our commitment to improvement extended beyond our products and into our internal operations. In 2024, JPI had outgrown our Plainview, New York warehouse facility where we have been for more than 10 years. In September, we relocated our distribution center to a larger, more advanced facility in Edgewood, New York. This move allowed us to accomplish two major goals – first, to accommodate the increased needs for our higher volume of large equipment and secondly to establish a dedicated training center designed to better support and empower our dealer partners.
In 2024, JPI also expanded and reorganized our sales team to offer even greater support and engagement for our customers, increasing the number of our sales, marketing and customer service divisions. We remain committed to development and growth, continuously focusing on strengthening our foundation for future success.
Internally, JPI has implemented two significant operational improvements in 2024 to benefit our customers. We have integrated some upgrades to our internal software to streamline communication across various departments. This advancement enables us to evaluate and enhance internal processes and procedures, resulting in greater productivity and efficiency. Along with this, we have introduced improved analytics for our phone and ticketing systems, allowing us to effectively track and manage incoming calls to better address customer needs.
